Curriculum coverage
Cameroon’s English-subsystem primary curriculum uses ten carrier subjects. This page makes the familiar components inside them visible for planning, teaching and revision.
Create a curriculum lesson
Plan weekly learning across all ten official subjects and every component taught at the selected level.
Prepare separately for Common Entrance and FSLC paper groupings without shrinking the full curriculum to exam subjects.
No official carrier subject was missing from the toolbox. The problem was visibility: familiar areas such as Health Education, Environmental Education, Home Economics, History, Geography, Music and computational thinking were hidden inside broader curriculum names.
Keep them separate
A competitive entry examination focused principally on English Language and Mathematics. Revision tools should follow the current official format.
A broader leaving assessment with written, oral and practical components. Subjects may be combined into papers, so paper labels are not the complete subject list.
Teachers still plan the full curriculum, including languages, STEM, social learning, vocational skills, arts, sport, culture and digital literacy.
Curriculum mapping follows the 2018 Cameroon Primary School Curriculum and the MINEDUB Teacher’s Handbook. Schools should confirm current schemes of work and examination circulars before final use.
